Below
is information published in the February 2006 issue of the UDC
magazine
on the order of UDC Insignia on your ribbon.
Order of
UDC Insignia & Placement on Ribbon
As many as
three official ribbons may be worn to attach insignia.
They must be worn side-by-side, the
property order beginning with
the heart.
All three must be either 8-inch or
16-inch. Lengths may not be mixed.
If you purchase a 32-inch ribbon, it
must be folded over to 16-inch
for added strength.
General Officer and Ex-President General
official ribbons shall not
exceed 12-inch. If you purchase 24-inch
ribbon, it must be folded
over to 12-inch for added strength.
No costume jewelry, souvenir buttons or
insignia of any other
organization shall be worn on the UDC
official ribbon.
Order of Insignia
1) Only Bars 1A, 1B or 1C shall be used
to attach the official
ribbon to clothing.
2) Ancestor bar upon whose record the
original membership was
approved.
3) Present office (General, Division,
Chapter).
4) Past office(s) held (General,
Division, Chapter).
5) UDC Membership pin.
6) Jefferson Davis Historical Gold Medal
(Ribbon optional).
7) Winnie Davis Medal.
8) Military service award lapel pin(s) -
recipients only.
9) Robert E. Lee Award Pin (CofC award).
10) 25-years Continuous Membership Pin.
11) 50-Year Continuous Membership Pin.
12) Supplemental ancestor bar(s).
13) 100th Anniversary of UDC Pin.

Davis Bicentennial Pin.

Memorial Building Endowment Fund Pin.
